Randomly Generated games are becoming more popular with developers as it gives their game a sense of replayability that story games and other popular games in the past. The increased hardware power has made random generation more availiable and also a lot more realistic. Linear games still have their place but randomly generated games are quickly becoming extremely popular with gamers at large.
