A month ago, thanks to the user @bendyOl183 shared a short video fragment of Tales on Emerset Island. While it does not include the opening dev code, extended Sonic dialogue, most battle attacks, or the “Coming soon…ish” with the title card at the end, it still appears to be a genuine piece of the original teaser.

This confirms that the project did exist, and that at least part of the teaser has survived. However, large portions of the video remain lost.

If anyone has the full teaser, an archived copy, or knows someone who might, please speak up. Even small fragments can help.

My least favorite part is ofc, finding bugs that ruins my experience. It can be so frustrating when the #Sonic physics don't behave or I find a glitch sprite asset but solving them is the only way to get that smooth gameplay. #Devruary #Sonic #SonicJ
