READY YOUR WISHLISTS!

When the remote colony of Dunest is in danger of eradication, three heroes answer the call...

There may be enemies behind every corner, and utmost peril at every turn, but together you can overcome any obstacle...

...As long as you can survive each other.

The wait is almost over! This game's sequel, Carnage in Space: Crucible is finally coming to Steam and GameJolt Early Access later this year!

Rejoin Nightmare as his ongoing mission to fight evil takes an unexpected turn, and he is joined by unexpected - and perhaps unwanted - allies! Like it or not, he's going to need all the help he can get as the frantic combat you've come to expect gets kicked up a few notches and death is always one mistake away.

There's no room to grow complacent - difficult choices lie ahead, and any one of the heroes could be the key to victory - or your doom.

Follow on GameJolt now to be the first to know when the game releases!

More underwater friends :)

I got a little creative block working on the lake level, so I skipped ahead for a bit.

This is the Boss Rush arena event! You fight many/all bosses back-to-back here.

I decided to go crazy with 3D effects here, since it happens in a virtual reality room.

The poll is over, and Tuhrahkkkii is the winner!

With that, Crucible phase 2 has begun.

For more Carnage in Space news, I highly recommend you take a look over on the sequel's devlog:

Behold, your reward for beating boss rush - this sick-as-heck 3D cutscene I threw together over the weekend!

Yeah, I know the game is mostly 2D, but I really felt like going way over the top with this game mode. I hope it paid off.

I updated the character select screen again!

I ditched the blurred overlay background for a stylish color-changing gradient, and added a spotlight to justify the players' shadows.

I also combined player & difficulty onto 1 screen for efficiency.

Presented without comment.

Sure has been a while since I posted something new, huh? Well, that's because I've been working on something big (that, and bugfixing).

Here's a little preview of that something!

Scenic subterranean lake ambiance.

It seems so peaceful... for now.

Rejoice! The jankiest puzzle in the game has been re-done.

It's still a little fiddly, but now the boulder's less likely to do screwy things like get stuck on a platform, or teleport you to the side on touch.

I thought the escape sequence in Chapter 2 didn't have enough urgency to it, so I spiced it up a little.

I also wrote a new song to go with it!

Keep an eye out for this in the next update, coming... whenever I feel like it.
