Release information


Well here it is. The Deep took around 11 months to complete, the images and textures used are drawn, and the sounds are taken from multiple places, the Gamemaker 8.1 platform from YoYogames was used to make it.

This game currently runs at 60 FPS at 720p on medium-end laptops so there should be no lag issues, but it also requires a certain kind of graphics/video card to run, so some outdated computers may have trouble running the file.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
