Release - Update v1.1.0


now ts a another one funny pmo

welcome to v1.1.0! (the anti-bullshit update!!)

changes:

  • made some characters' attack timings less dependent on rng

    • combinations that would oftentimes lead to certain death are now less likely to happen

  • cherwin and jose are now more aggressive

  • ai tweaks to some challenges

fixes:

  • fix a bug where tofi and jose would not make sound when passing through west hall unless their movements were forced

Next up

main menu so far

will be working on the menus and other systems (and a new area/map/world/whatchamacallit) before any more new units

2 new enemies with special abilities

1 new ally

and 2 new upgrades, one of which being the first tier-3 upgrade to be made

a new area - the highway

and a new ally joins the army

we got 9 new upgrades and 3 new enemies

all the while ive been watching a 32 hour long video of the entire great ace attorney adventures game while i work, kinda helps me focus i tink

the map menu, aka the level selection screen

systems currently being worked on

springshoe was actually buggy in the last vid so here is a solo showcase for her mechanics

collection screen for viewing units, tree screen for viewing upgrade trees and unlocking variants, and an xp system to go with it

yes, xp is sewage (shitwater shall be the official term)

menus, save system, unlocking, game over

next will be figuring out the xp system for unlocking upgrades, and a collection screen to view allies and enemies

looks like gunner and barricade are workin their ways to full upgrade trees

there are some other new upgrades (and enemies too), but that will be for the next post

last post said this post was supposed to reveal the rest of the new units and whatnots but i like this guy so he gets his own solo reveal first
