welcome to public beta v0.3.0

most importantly introducing:
- DEATH MODE: a new battle mode
- DISCO BALL: a new ally

additions

  • new battle mode: death mode

    • each world will have a death mode alongside its normal mode
      currently only scrapyard

    • death mode introduces a new mechanic for each world and makes enemies twice as tough

  • new ally: disco ball

    • unlocked at wave 80 of the disco gym

    • click on it to stun enemies in a 5x5 radius for 5 seconds
      after which it must take time to cool down

  • new enemy: vroombloat

    • has a chance to replace a random vroomba

    • has 5x the health and 2x the dps

  • added a lil siren alarm thingy to the wave counter to signal horde waves

changes

  • air-kooler's effect is now bluer

  • mad rocket scientist now rocket boosts upon losing half of his health if he still has not rocket boosted

      • 011: gatling gunner
        cost: 200 → 150

      • 01: bear trap
        attack interval: 15s → 10s

    • shredder

      • 0: shredder
        damage per scrap production: 50 → 100

      • 011: self-sustaining shredder
        damage per healing: 50 → 100

      • 012: recycling shredder

      • 021: pulverizer
        cost: 240 → 360

      • 022: buzzsaw tentacles
        damage per scrap production: 50 → 100
        cost: 300 → 320

    • birdshot

      • 02: hunter rifle
        cost: 30 → 50

    • lektrik fan

  • wave progression changes

    • decreased time gap between waves

    • highway: satellite rovers are now first encountered here

    • highway: slight tweaks to rocket vroomba encounters

    • disco gym: first wave now comes faster

      • used to be 30s, twice as long as other stages

      • is now 15s as normal

    • disco gym: early waves less stressful

    • disco gym: removed big harry encounters

fixes

  • effect timers now properly affected by game speed

  • fixed loading error that may occur after saving a battle with upgrade units in the hotbar

  • mad rocket scientist no longer gets reglued upon landing after flying off a glue mat

  • tp launcher now shoots tp (thankyou TehArtist99)

  • manual allies (such as processor) no longer register clicks while a hotbar card or the trash button is selected
