Released on Game Jolt!


I originally posted this on the Game Maker Community (GMC) forums about ten days ago. A few embarassing bug fixes later and I now feel ready to release it on Game Jolt! Time for some shameless copying and pasting from the thread I made in the GMC:

Our unremarkable protagonist must embark on a sorta-epic quest to save his world from the evil Master of Evil!

Battle through the Mushroom Kingdom, the Moon and other exotic locations, defeat bosses, grow in power, jump, shoot and slash as you attempt to discover the identity of the MoE and stop its evil plans!

  • Each level has its own look and boss!

  • Shoot things!

  • Slash things!

  • Shoot and slash things!

  • Explosions!

  • Bottomless pits!

  • Non-bottomless pits with instant-kill spikes!

  • Cutscenes!

  • Dodge bullets, missiles and other things that can be dodged!

  • Grow in power as you progress through the game!

  • Unlockable, pointless, cosmetic rewards!

  • Discover who the Master of Evil is!

  • And more things you’ve probably already seen before!

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
