Renamed to The Explorer's Guild


Official Rename

The game is now officially renamed to The Explorer's Guild (TEG) to keep in line with the original Smile Game Builder concept and vision.

Besides, it's easier to type and say!

System Development

I started developing TEG's core system, including Attributes, Traits and Morality.

Attributes

TEG has additional attributes or stats used for certain skills, situations and dialogue requirements: Strength, Confidence, Charisma, Intelligence, Dexterity, Stamina, Perception and Luck.

Traits

Personality traits define you as a person as your main characteristic.

Morality

The choices you make will affect your morality and certain traits.

Book Reading System

There's also a book reading system (as shown in the video, which is an improved version of the SGB tutorial I did.

Turn pages by pressing the left and right keys.

You can also collect the books you've read.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
