Renaming


It's been a little over half a year now since the name "Project Mary" was suggested to me.

At first I loved the name, but every day since it's just been sounding more and more clunky to me - and that was also before I realized everyone and their dog was naming their game "Project ______" nowadays!

"Mary's Arcade" feels better to say, rolls off the tongue better, and I have the peace of mind of actually coming up with the title instead of using a suggestion.

I'm not going to go back and change all my devlogs, and "Project Mary" still refers to this game, just from now on I'll be calling it by it's new name.

The duality of Mary art.

Was wondering how the hell Mary's Arcade ended up the way it did and then realized the latter half of development was spent listening to this stuff. Makes a lot more sense now.

Mary's Arcade - 2 DAYS UNTIL RELEASE

I swear once this skeleton is finally done and textured the rest of the game will come a lot faster. This thing has been a huge bottleneck to the point where I'm not sure the MA2 characters will even have internal mechs.

All motion is fully IKFK rigged and keyable, now just to finish the meshwork and texture it.

If I have to give SP an "adult - tobacco use" rating because of this pipe I will be mad but it will be worth it.

Might actually reach out to Game Jolt to see if this warrants a rating.

Maya really makes things feel "behind the scenes" in a way that Blender just doesn't. (to me)
