Ritmo is Released!

We here at Noisemaker Games are proud to finally announce that our game Ritmo is Released!

Ritmo started as a Senior Capstone project for the Entertainment Arts & Engineering (EAE) undergraduate program at the University of Utah. Starting initially as a concept that was similar to The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom, the game evolved and changed dramatically over the first year of development and became the musical platformer you see now. We continued to work on the game for the next few years, adding levels, gameplay mutators and fixing any bugs we could find so we could release the best game we could!

We would like to thank our families, friends and fans for supporting us as we worked towards our final release and we would also like to thank our Professors and colleagues in the EAE program for helping us create and shape the game in its early development.

We hope you enjoy the game and would love to hear what you think of it!

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
