Riverwood Devlog #9 - Getting closer to the finish line, and showing off a new weapon and more gameplay!!!

Hello everyone and, welcome back to the Riverwood devlog Series! I have been working a lot for the past two weeks trying to get more and more done for that finish line of October 31st, 2020. Now there is still a bunch of work that needs to be done before the release however, the project is looking better and better every day.

Now, as you can see above this article there are new GIFs of the new weapon, and behold the all-mighty smg! With this bad boy, you can shred through the monsters like those 1000° knife videos you saw a few years ago on YouTube however, instead of melting butter, it melts monsters with lead back to where they came from.

With the new weapon comes a new level completed and ready to go for all of your pleasures filled with non stop action and monster-killing.

Here's an early video of a simple door mechanic I worked on, I wanted to replicate Resident Evil's door system which changed rooms while keeping your position on the last room and when you returned your player spawned near the door. #indie #unity #gamedev
