RogueBoy in development


Working now on RogueBoy - a minimalistic roguelike, GameBoy style! This is for the #gbjam3.

Currently done:

  • Art assets

  • Random level generation

  • Main character control

The game still needs items, enemies and collision control between bullets and characters to be at least functional. After that I’ll had refinements to improve it until the end date (unfortunately I don’t have much time to spend on it though…).

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Why walk when you can jump?
