Runick - Update (1.0.0) !


The best things in life are worth waiting for. :D

I present to you the 1.0.0 version of Runick which will be appearing also on all other platforms (once I figure out how to do all of that).

The new update was mainly focused on UI and UX improvements and adding overall finishing touches where I felt like the game needed it. Most notable ones are listed below.

Changelog:

  • added level progression, completing each level now unlocks the next one

  • added a wrong move animation to the shapes to give better feedback that the move is not possible

  • added a credits button on the main menu so you can check out the people who made it possible for this little gem to exist

Additionally the uploaded web build is no longer a demo version but a full game which you can try out!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
