Runick - Update (v0.6.0)

It’s been too long, too long…

We have been sidetracked with different things and put Runick aside for a little bit, but we are back, stronger than ever, right? :)

Changelog:

  • implemented SFXs

  • fixed an Undo Bug

  • added Toggle Mute Audio button

  • added Quit Button in Main Menu (only on desktop versions of the game)

  • added more controls (M - toggle mute, ESC - quit)

  • shapes move faster (animation duration for shapes updated from 0.25 to 0.2)

  • Menu UI rotates faster (animation duration updated from 0.5 to 0.25)

  • every level now starts with the Blue shape active

  • swapped levels 1 and 2

  • level 5 updated (rotated for better visibility)

  • level 7 replaced with a new level (because of the difficulty spike)

  • level 24 replaced with the old level 7

  • level 22 replaced with the old level 24

  • level 31 replaced with a new level (because of the difficulty spike)

Also there is a new package that was mentioned in the last update, now you can play Runick through your browser like before (with only a couple of demo levels) and if you really like the game you can get it on your own devices with the second package which includes all the possible platforms (WARNING: I have not tested the game on Linux so I have no idea if it works as intended - I have no Linux friends, need to get some…).

P.S. I just noticed we skipped update 0.5.0, well 0.6.0 sounds more powerful and fitting for this, so there’s that. :D

Good to be back,
Kiphla
