Sandbox Play - three days of work in an update

I’ve been working for the past 3 days to improve Sandbox Play to a stage where the result is visible and can be uploaded as an update.

With the help of an artist we’ve managed to improve the interface and polish it a bit. On top of the UI I’ve also spent some time on the main part of the game - physics. A slight performance boost with the more realistic physics now means more joy when playing.

Sandbox Play includes 4 simple maps for your pleasure:
-bridge
-castle
-wall
-house

One last thing I should mention is that you’re now required to save your map before you can try it out. This prevents loss of data because after you’ve gone into “Play mode” you cannot return and edit the map. You are currently forced to reload the saved map to edit it.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Showing off player 2 😎

What do you think?

Call it 'wrong turn'!🚫 The feeling of running into a house with only one exit🚪, and being doomed to die. #pixelart #pixelartist #pixelartwork #art #pixel #indiegame #IndieGameDev #indieartist

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)
