Hello horse-slayers. Just a quick check-in as I haven't posted for a couple of weeks, but I've still been busy! There isn't much new to post screenshot-wise as I've mostly been working on debugging and playtesting. It's all about adding atmosphere and enriching the experience now, with all the random events, murder descriptions etc.
This game has so much more going on than Slaughter Horse 1 did that the first game feels like an absolute breeze in comparison - so much so, that once I've released SH2, I'm strongly considering doing a Slaughter Horse Redux - the first game modernised. I may even make it a free game on Steam and Android to help promote this one, but I'm not a frog and you're not a bunny, so let's not jump ahead.
We're still looking at an August release (probably nearer the end of August than now) - that is to say, this very month. There's still a bit to do, but I have a week off from Thursday so my intention is to use my week off to concentrate solely on SH2 and get it release-ready.

Playtesters wanted!
Steam has granted me some pre-release keys. How these work is by allowing people with the key to download and test the game before it has actually been officially released. Originally I was going to put an HTML5 version on Gamejolt but that probably wouldn't work too well. Instead, if you'd like to help me out by playtesting a pre-release version sometime in the near future please add a comment to this post. I'll get back to you with a key once a pre-release version is ready! You get a free copy of the game (thanks for following development all this time) and all I ask in return is you try and break it as hard as you can and report back!
