I am again writing on behalf of Jimmy to give a quick update on his current predicament. This post will mainly be filling out more of the details he explained last post. Then, we will explain how things have improved over the week.

First, to everyone who immediately donated when the Update 5 post went up, you have no idea how much that helped. Within four days, all the debt that Jimmy had to deal with was gone. This stopped the interest from the bank from accruing. And secondly, this also helped pay off the ticket that resulted from an accident when Jimmy and his Dad were on the road. The impact was felt and he thanks you all for that.

Now to elaborate on what happened between the "Reaching the Goal" post and this current update.

Initially things were going good since the money helped pay for part of the surgery upfront, and would then allow Jimmy to coast from that for a time. The fundraiser money was not meant to be touched for anything else besides the procedure, but due to complications arising afterwards this changed. As many of you know, in the US right now inflation has really been effecting everyone. This has been difficult on Jimmy since food obviously costs a lot, and as a result, they had to start digging into the fundraiser money for groceries.

Even though Jimmy's Dad works, the type of job he works goes off of a commission, so income is not consistent. This couldn't be mitigated either, so they had to bite the bullet. If it was just this, it wouldn't have been as bad, but other events began to take place that caused a lot of problems.

They then had to resolve a legal issue caused by Jimmy's Mom that would effect them negatively. We can't go into specifics but because of that, a lawyer was needed to be hired that helped handle what was going on, but that still costed 2,000$ which also came out of the fundraiser money.

And finally, the car situation. For context Jimmy and his Dad were given a vehicle by someone who we'll call "Car Guy". He was lending them the car for free. He even promised he wouldn't take the car back. Despite this though. the state of the vehicle was in was bad enough that money needed to be put into it for repairs. This also unfortunately came from the fundraiser, another 2000$. While the vehicle was working, that is when things came to their worst. Back in June, while Jimmy and his Dad were on the road driving, someone struck them on the road. This then caused the person who crashed into them to put an insurance claim for the accident, and they lost the car since Car Guy took the car back. Car Guy was the only person who gave them any transportation, and he even stopped communicating with them and went radio silent, effectively ghosting them.

I remember shortly after they needed transportation from their dentist's clinic and tried to message Car Guy for help, but he never responded back. He purposefully ignored Jimmy and as a result, Jimmy called me over the phone and asked if I could get him an uber. If it weren't for me, they would have been stranded at the clinic. Car Guy has not responded to them since.

Overall, these complications have caused lots of issues, but despite the bad news, there is good news on the horizon.

Jimmy did manage to sell his computer for food money. This gave them an additional 1000+ dollars to work with. They are also currently selling off whatever they own that is not necessary for survival so they can pay off more of the dentist. Jimmy is hoping that with what they have, if they sell it off certain materials they can have more room to breath money wise.

Jimmy has also steadily been recovering. Even though it has still been rough for him, he is overall in a better state then he was at the beginning of this year. While Jimmy is still in pain, he is no longer suffocating in his sleep since the procedures he has done have helped him to breath at night. His teeth have also been straightening which has caused him less pain. His dentist is also planning to make him a
protraction mask, which is used to help fix an underbite. This will also allow him to breath more effectively and fix pain in his jaw . An example of what it looks like can be seen below.

So while it has been rough for him, things have been getting better, just slowly. Though the rough bumps have caused issues previously not expected.

Even though many events have transpired that Jimmy was not expecting, he is still alive and kicking. The fundraiser and all of your help have alleviated a lot of prior stress, but the storm has not cleared yet. As always, please make sure to keep him in prayer and that things improve. Jimmy mentioned that if you would like to keep donating, anything would help him out. Groceries as of recent have been a lot of money, and so that would help make it easier for him to get a good meal at home. He lives in poverty and so they ration the food, so anything donated that goes to the food helps a lot.

To lighten the mood, Jimmy wanted to bring up some info regarding the TRTF: Anniversary Edition series.

TRTF5's remake has been handed off to another director while Jimmy is recovering as progress improves steadily. Originally, I was the lead director but have decided to step down due to complications in my personal life. However, the new director is very competent and well informed in regards to TRTF, and he will be revealed when the time comes.

Yikoon was also very kind and has also made another piece of fan art for TRTF1:AE which we made the thumbnail for this post. He had a lot of fun with this one since Puppet is the oddball of the cast, so we hope that lightens the mood.
