Haunt the dog (2nd Image) is a dog-like entity haunting the 1994 game "foxington" (1st image), The metallic nightmare" which is a 3d game, with a game-play still sorta like sonic adventure, which had 2 game-play styles you could swap from "Adventure" and "Discover" mode.

He resides in a hijacked version of the game, made by (???) in order to haunt mark about the loss of his girlfriend. Stuff starts to go wrong as photos of his friends corpse locked inside the suits start to appear on decals and such. Characters in the game like Chester, and Doug becoming disfigured at times, the audio replaced at times with loud, and incoherent noises.

during a segment in the game, he does what mx does in The "power-down" song in Mario's madness to gf, BUT instead he rips her (Scarlet) face off, resembling her corpse which resides in foxingtons gf in game and the one in the actual animatronic, shaking scarlet by her shoulders.

Instead of the "innocence doesn't get you far", haunt says "what's wrong, don't you recognize her?"

After this scene plays results in a chase segment with the text "Hurry up!", which plays when your in a chase/running out of time. Usually this chase plays at the end of the game, but was moved to this segment because (???) wanted to. Some decals are replaced with crude images and words like "COWARD" "LEFT US TO DIE" appear. After awhile, the chase scene would eventually leads to the players demise since their too slow for this "ghostly apparition".

the text "FACE ME" "FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN" flashing on screen, attempting to entice mark (person playing) so he goes back to "Chester's", so maniac can add him to the kill list, and finally complete his "collection" of all his friends, locking them in one place.

For a bit, mark believed the ghosts of his friends were haunting these "cursed" items, which IS what the maniac wanted, but figured out who ACTUALLY is giving him this rancid ass shit.

How is mark getting the haunted tapes/items?:

Its because he signed up for the VIP gifts for his girlfriend, which meant he needed to give his address. So instead of getting cute gifs, he is getting whatever hell-spawn the maniac is cooking.

Small facts:
-Haunt cannot hurt anyone irl, he just is made to scare mark
-Haunt is a disfigured version of a boss in the game he resides in.
-Maniac accidentally fucked up his model, but decided to just to go through with the idea and fuck it up more
-His teeth retract

How they contrast:

"Mark" playing as the good guy here symbolizes how he is trying to figure out how he can put their souls to rest (his gf and friends), ending this game (???) made with his friends souls. mark didn't make foxington showing how he is forced into this situation

While haunt, made by (???) is more ridged, cruel, and higher detailed, showing his true intentions on his rotten black core, wanted the game to end, just in a much MUCH cruel way. while haunt was made by (???), showing how he put himself into his situation, and the fate soon to fall on both of them..
