“I… Can… Smell… You!”, sang the demonic voice behind him.

He ran faster than ever before in his life. Even though he knew nothing, except this voice, he knew he got to run.

“I… Can… Hear… You!”, it sang again.

He ran deeper into the woods, out of which he tried to escape in his earlier life, the life he couldn’t remember.

“I… Can… See… You!”, the voice sang, closer to him than before.

Running and Struggling did he move through the woods, hoping to gain some space between the voice and himself.

“I… Can… Taste… You!”, it sang, and it sounded as if it was inside his ear.

He felt the breath of the creature on his neck, and he just ran, faster than ever, even though he could not remember.

“I… Can… Feel… You!”, it said with it’s singing voice.

He could feel it’s hand on his shoulder, as it tried to finally catch him. And as his body was suddenly filled with pain, he could hear it again. but this time it wasn’t singing. This time, it was a voice he knew from his earlier life.

“I can be you.”
