So I've been experiencing this problem with GDevelop. Whenever I open the game, the entire background is just pink and the static background is gone.

"I hate GDevelop."

You're probably wondering, didn't I switch to Game Maker 1.4? Well, I encountered a problem. I can't open the game because it keeps on showing this error: "Net Framework 3.5 error 0x800703f1." I spent all night trying to fix it. All freaking night just to get Game Maker 1.4 working. But I wasted my time and nothing worked. No matter how much research I did, it wouldn't freaking work.

So, I switched back to Clickteam Fusion.

Mercury's Quest is still being made in GDevelop because I made some stellar progress.

So TNaL is no longer on hiatus, but development will slow down because of Mercury's Quest.

Mercury's Quest will not be sold on Gamejolt; it will be sold on Itch.io.

The Itch.io page is under development, so yeah, it's not here yet.
