Right now I’m working on the second demo, which will be an indoor stage (a missile base that’s been compromised and infested) where the player will be fighting against enemies and aiding NPCs new to the game. The pacing of the stage will be similar to a dungeon in the Zelda series where there are new items to pick up and new areas opening up based on acquiring those items. You’ll also start out with more health and a little more gear (which you’d end up having by the time you got to the stage in the game proper.)
After getting to the final portion of the indoor stage, you'll pick up a new weapon and take off, leading to a flight stage against a new spiderlike boss, with a horizontal perspective (and gravity in the case of the boss, who will jump at you occasionally and fire electrified webs at you. Its defeat will mark the end of the demo. More general details to follow as development continues.
