SHANE/THE GRAVE DIGGER HAS ARRIVED TO THE JOLTERLAND TO BURY THE FRIENDS!

SOUL – GRAVESTONE

A grave digger has a power every Sans the Skeleton has, but this Sans... will not speaking a single word or even making a pun.

PASSIVE 1 – DODGE

Shane has the DODGE Bar on the bottom of the left screen. Every time, if a friend lands a stun successfully, it dodges it and a stun is not applied.

The DODGE Bar itself has 60-100 DGP and each dodge costs 10 DGP. After wasting all of them, Shane becomes vulnerable to any stun. However, he can recover 10 DGP back via elimiating a friend.

PASSIVE 2 – MY OWN GRAVEYARD

Shane becomes progressively more agressive to his cap each time he elimiates a friend. It adds every +5 DGP, +.1m/s of his sprint speed, and +2 DMG, but also adds every +1 meter of his terror radius and +.2m/s of his chase radius.


M2 ATTACK – BONE PUSH

Upon activation, Shane summons a large bone wall that go in direction he's estimated. Upon collision with a friend, it deals 20-38 DMG with a solid knockback.

However there's two other variations of bones that a friend can pass it without a scratch;

- If the bones are orange, they have to move when passing through them.

- If the bones are cyan, they have to stay still and let them through.

COOLDOWN: 6 seconds

ABILITY 1 – GASTER BLASTER

After a 1 second wind-up, Shane summons a gaster blaster and it shoots, with a beam that goes across the map and also goes through walls, at the direction he's aiming. It deals 35-51 DMG and inflicts Burning status for 4 seconds.

Burning does a tick damage for 1 to .25 seconds depending on how this ability is charged before.

COOLDOWN: 8 seconds.

ABILITY 2 – STAY DOWN

Shane sends the INTERGRITY soul to catch a friend in range of 2 meters. If succeed, he pins them on the ground and the pile of bones arise from the ground after 1 seconds of wind-up, dealing 45-61 DMG and inflicting Anchored and Bleeding statuses.

However, in a friend's POV, getting caught by Shane initiaties the Escape Minigame. A friend must click off the combination of four arrows and they have to do it without the mistakes. If they successfully counters it, Shane gains Slowness I for 2 seconds and has additional 4 seconds of that ability cooldown.

Anchored completely immobilizes the character for a period of time.

Bleeding depletes a friend's health over time to the Downing State.

Slowness decreases the character's movement, it can be stacked up to V.

COOLDOWN: 10s; 14s (if countered by a friend)

ABILITY 3 – COME HERE

Shane freezes in place and sends the INTERGRITY soul to pull a friend to himself and inflict Anchored status in a range of 5 meters. If succeed, he does a 7-hit combo dealing overall 40-56 DMG. If fails, he suffers to Slowness II status for 3 seconds and has additional 4 seconds of that ability cooldown.

Anchored completely immobilizes the character for a period of time.

Slowness decreases the character's movement, it can be stacked up to V.


LORE

"A another hollow, dark and grey days arose again and the rain poured out in the underground as always. A quiet, lifeless place it became after the fallen human did have commit a killing sprees towards the monsters they've met, even it looked innocent.

As they kept wandering, they finally find the chapel. As they hoped there will be one power to take, they entered it. The darkness and silence surrounded this sacred place.

And right on cue, some monster waited just for them... In the darkest corner. He stood there, livid, and spoke nothing.

Brother, executioner, grave digger. He knows what has they done.

The fight was fierce, and both the blood of the relentless human was spilling on the floor and the summoned bones and gaster blasters' projectiles the skeleton has summoned were flying at their direction. And suddenly...

As the human has got off-guard and the piles of bones went through their body, they succumbed as their cold out of their apathy and ruthlessness blood splatted nearly in the whole chapel. After all this violence, he dragged them to their coffin King he'd killed had prepared for them, just like for the other humans they've met that same fate.

Once he buried them, the pitch-blacked night occurred and The Mask appeared in front of him in the thin air. It offered him to takedown its playthings in Jolterland in exchange of purification of the whole land from the evil that contaminated.

With no words, he agreed his offer as he shook his hand with it.

And the only thing he has left, is a lifeless, vacant and dark kingdom of the underground the Highness Dreemurr formerly ruled before his demise.

His reborned legacy has begun as his white light on his eye flickers."


DEV NOTES

  • Before making a concept for Shane, I see something about in Terror Realm unofficial wiki. Then I watched a gameplay (I hate converting RAR files >:(.) and it was the one of the reasons why I wanted to put him in a game. Yeah, I know there's Clover, but they comes to the game pretty earlier than him.

  • The DODGE passive was meant to be Red_Mist_X's. Shortly after I found out he exists, I've switched this to his passive set.

  • I heavily apologize for my bad grammar in the teaser post, if you ask for his lore in the last post!
