SHE ATE THE COOKIES RANDOMIZER: The True Ending Update has now been released, view the changelog in the article below.


(New Additions)

- Nano (Normal), Entity 01, Marisa (Without Swag), Cookie Leaf, Cookie Knight & Aldric have all been added to the randomized enemies roster. This also means that the Aldric boss fight is now randomized as well, so have fun dealing with that.

- Added a brand new option during the intro that lets the player enable special enemies, currently only adding Chungus.

- There is now an option to save the game before randomizing everything in order to let the player have a way to skip picking their preferred settings and just jump into the game quicker.

- Added text that shows the player their final time after beating the game.

- The one-on-one fight against Katta will now have the enemy weakened if either Eretuek is replaced with Luxuria/Typho or whoever is fighting against Katta has the Lusty/Crusher class. This is to hopefully avoid situations where the player is either left to endure an extremely challenging/long fight or the boss becomes completely impossible to beat.

- Stat Swapping now also changes how much EXP and GOLD an enemy drops as well.

- Enemies that have state rates/state persists and extra actions have had their traits moved into states that will be given to the enemy during specific fights, hopefully preventing certain enemies from being far too overpowered as random encounters.

- Nano, Entity 01 and Cookie Man troops now have properly working phases with randomized enemies enabled, changing the stats of the enemy to match each form (along with applying specific states).

- Reworked the way random drops work, meaning that now random encounters will always have a chance of dropping certain items.

(Minor Changes)

- The dialogue that certain events prompt at home now checks for specific party members.

- There is now a one second delay before the game asks you to pick a difficulty, this is to prevent players from accidentally starting the game in Raw Mode if they're mashing their way through the options.

- Changed the scene in the Village to remove party members in a way that prevents characters from suddenly vanishing.

- Certain choices during the intro will no longer appear if Enemy/Boss Randomization isn't enabled.

- Some events that trigger the "Empty." dialogue will now check to see if Mac or Luxuria is in the party.

- Cute Sunflower and Marisa are no longer guaranteed to drop a Sunflower Tendril and Magician's Ribbon respectively; sporting a 1/4 chance of them dropping instead. They are however still given to the player after simply beating their boss fights normally, as this only affects them in random encounters.

- Doubled the EXP and GOLD dropped by the enemies in the Forest to hopefully make the early game a bit less rough.

- Made it so that the player doesn't need to get a third ally before being able to have Mac lockpick the door to the Refurbs fight.

- Choscalate can no longer drop the Frost Effect Note.

- Mariposa and HeadCrab now both drop some GOLD after being beaten.

- The enemy's collapse effect will now depend on whether or not the enemy is a boss or not.

- Beating the Butterfly is no longer required to access the True Final Boss, just placing all five bombs in the Factory. This does end up somewhat changing the cutscenes for the True Final Boss, skipping any extra lore other than revealing Cookie Man's name.

- Removed one of the Save Screens that open up during the Katta cutscene, keeping the one just before the fight begins.

- During the intro cutscene before the Cookie Man fight, there is now a fadeout and a 1 second delay before the Save Screen pops up in order to hopefully prevent the player from accidentally saving over their file.

- When the game asks you to save after the explosion, the player is now presented with the option of either saving or not saving rather than having the Save Screen pop up immediately after the text prompt.

(Bug Fixes)

- Fixed the True Ending scene repeating instead of going back to the title screen.

- Fixed there not being a fade-in command after the Mac fight.

- Fixed a box still containing six Magic Waters for the player to take during Ashes Mode (and also being a way of infinitely getting Magic Waters on any other difficulty, whoops).

- Fixed a Fun Event not checking to see if a specific party member is in the party.

- Fixed the fight against Aldric removing all MP from the enemy instead of all HP.

- Fixed the Spicy Chef fight swapping the wrong stats with Stat Swap enabled.
