Well, I should have released a devlog sooner than this.
Progress regarding gameplay:
Phase 4 has been finished.
Phases 1 and 2 had massive dialogue changes.
Phase 3 had minor dialogue changes.
Progress regarding the endings:
Mercy Ending 1, also known as the Spare ending is done and the panels for it are done.
The next ending to be done is the Mercy Ending 2/Talk ending.
Progress outside of gameplay:
Fixed some problems regarding the naming screen to gradually become laggier.
Improvements:
The soul now uses the same gliding code as the blasters, which means the soul smoothly moves to the desired location in animations. Examples: game over screen, the ending portion of phase 4, the Mercy ending 1 soul destruction.
What's left to do:
Finish the DETERMINATION Cutscene.
Finish Talk ending.
Finish True ending/Main ending.
Playtest the entire game, roughly 5-7 times.
Put the game through bug fixing.
Try to optimize the game a bit.
Release the full game.
