Hey guys, just wanted to pop in to post a progress update, as well as to talk about a few things.
For one, progress is still being made steady enough on the game. I believe the entire main night sections (and custom night by extension) have been effectively entirely completed outside of bug fixing and minor polish. That includes remade music (almost all of the tracks are finished), new tracks for Lolbyte and Tophat, re-edited audio, finalized lighting, some adjusted mechanics, finished game over screens, so forth.
I'm hoping to get that game page overhaul made once any bug fixing in question is done.
For now though, before we send out the polished version to testers, I do want to admit that my motivation has been very, very low lately for a myriad of reasons that I don't really want to get into here, as I don't feel it's the place to do so. I try to keep this game page strictly for the game, not as a personal blog. Though if you follow my Twitter, you've probably seen a lot going on in my life lately in general, you get the gist.
This is part of why I haven't been as active in updating the page lately, as well as progress on the game in general. Working on it in on the whole doesn't feel the same as it used to, and that kind of extends to a lot of things in my life currently - or rather, things that used to be in my life.
I've mentioned it briefly before, but the main reason I'm still working on this project is effectively out of obligation, to give it the proper sendoff that it deserved to begin with. The "true" version of CPW, my only fangame since 2018. Because of this though, I just don't have quite the drive for this anymore that I used to for many, many reasons. FNaF just doesn't feel like it's for me anymore, including its community.
That isn't to say that I don't have any passion at all for the game, its story, or its characters, nor is it going anywhere, but I (and Squeaks by extension) are taking a lot more of our time on it now than trying to get it out ASAP as we were closer to the middle of the year. Effort is still being put into its fullest, as this is still a game that I and the rest of the team want to see get what it deserves, but morale is just much lower than it used to be, and so work is a significant amount slower. Still steady and active, but slower. It's a game being finished because I have far too much pride to just add it to the ever-growing cancellation pile, for better or for worse.
I still anticipate a release before the end of the year, but I must stress that this is an estimation, and not a guarantee. Of course when the time approaches, we'll have more of a solid idea, but it's at least a goal we're trying to hit.
I've been very tired in many regards, including emotionally, but I don't feel like this is the place to talk about that. And of course, I feel bad that I seem to leave you guys in the dark so often because of all this. So, thank you to those who have stuck around and continue to be patient with us - and continue to be patient with me as I go through the motions.
I will see this through no matter what.
As a small bonus for putting up with my ramblings, here's a bug we're currently working on fixing: the "Connection Found" text on the cameras will sometimes randomly change upon load to say "Cennection Found".

As mentioned in my previous post, I would like to post on here about non-fangame games I'm working on too. This is Rook, Tootsie, and Roe (left to right), which are 3 out of 11 characters for an upcoming fighting game I've been working on.
Small devlog update to help break the silence. Read below! #fnaf
Stickers have been updated! They now properly reflect the new designs instead of the older ones. (And for some of you, may even be your first look at a few of the new high poly models!) #fnaf

More work on Vicious Right Hook We actually managed to model and implement a stage all in one day which was pretty cool. It's not 100% finished but its pretty damn close in comparison to most of the stuff implemented so far.
Happy #WIPWednesday!
