When Z and Lyssa were younger they had two younger brothers Owen and Tycer, one day as they were playing around Z heard their father coming up the stairs and told them to hide due to their dad being drunk and abusive and if one of them were found they would be hurt.

Once their dad came in the room he found Tycer and as Lyssa and Z tried to stay quiet they heard a bang in the wall then heard a slam of the door, soon after they left their hiding spot they found Tycer on the ground with blood coming out of his head, it was later found out that their father threw him to the wall with lots of force making him bleed out a lot. After the police said he died, Lyssa and Z knew it was best for them to leave to live, so they ran away.

As they were hiding from the police after their parents found out they were missing, a crash happened near them and they went to check it out for them to find a man dying from a huge piece of metal from the car jammed into his chest, Lyssa grabbed the man out of the car and Z helped Lyssa and a few people around them who witnessed the accident helped pull the metal out, Z remembered that she could heal things so she used a lot of her powers on the man and saved his live. After they got money from the man’s family for saving him, they got a house to live in and Lyssa chose to be a police officer and Z chose to be a healer. But that was until Z met someone in the alleys...

P.S, When Z used her powers on the man a white streak formed in her hair, telling that if she used to much of her powers she would lose them once her hair is all white.
