So here's an idea:

I've gotten that Suno thing to show me how I can upgrade the menu themes...but I kinda wanna release the Suno versions as public domain.

As in, I won't own the AI-generated versions. No one will. I think that's fair.

Should I do that?

So this means that the versions Suno made will be in the music player, labelled as being: "(Suno Version, Public Domain)"

However, while the Suno versions will be public domain, the human-made versions of the game's music will still fall under copyright protection.

The reason I'm making the Suno versions public domain is for my own personal morals. AI media is created using training data, which often comes from the works of others...so the work of others is essentially taken and used to make something that could replace them. So I consider it wrong to claim the AI versions as my own work and profit from them, as these AI versions are actually built from the work of so many artists.
