1: Zone Name: Electric Express
Background: A futuristic city
skyline dotted with towering
skyscrapers and buzzing with
energy from neon lights and
holographic advertising signs.
Gameplay: Sonic has to navigate
through a bustling metropolis filled
with bustling traffic and electrical
hazards. The levelis split into
multiple sections, where Sonic has
to dodge oncoming traffic on the
busy streets, grind rails above the
bustling cityscape, and run through
underground tunnels filled with
electrical traps and hazards. The
level would also have interactive
elements like buttons that activate
elevators or open doors to new areas, and springs that launch
Sonic from one building to another.
Boss: Electro-Enigma
Appearance: A massive robotic
riddle bOx with electrified wires
and puzzles mounted on its sides.
Strategy: This boss is different than
traditional bosses, as Sonic doesn't
deal any direct damage. Instead,
Sonic has to solve a series of
electrical puzzles by manipulating
switches and rearranging circuits
to deactivate the wires connecting
the outer shell of the Enigma.
Sonic can then use his Spin Dash
to unravel the wires connecting
the outer shell of Electro-Enigma.
Sonic must solve each of
the electronic puzzle panels
successfully to expose the inner wiring of Electro -Enigma before
hitting it eight times to defeat it.
Mechanics:
1. Levitation platforms: These
are flat discs that allow Sonic to
float through the air, giving him a
bird's eye view of the city. These
platforms can be tricky to control,
but they give Sonic the ability to
avoid ground hazards and scout
out upcoming obstacles.
2. Magnetic streetlights: These are
lampposts with a magnetic charge
that Sonic can activate to gain a
speed boost or to stick to the pole
and run on the side of the building.
These can be useful for dodging
traffic or avoiding a dangerous fall.
3. Zip lines: These are cables
that Sonic can slide down, either
holding onto them or running down them, which allows Sonic to
quickly traverse the level.
2: Zone Name: Crystal Caves
Description: Crystal Caves is an
underground cavern filled with
glittering minerals and gemstones.
The walls and floors are lined
with crystals, reflecting light
and creating an otherworldly
atmosphere. However, this faceted
The environment is treacherous, with
pitfalls, rockfalls, and dangerous
mechanical traps scattered
throughout.
Unique Features:
- Light beams: The crystals create
prisms and shining light beams, which Sonic can use to trigger
switches and navigate around
traps.
- Crystal slides: Sonic can slide
on the smooth, glassy surfaces of
the crystals, gaining speed and
dodging obstacles while creating
colorful light shows.
- Geode battles: Sonic will
encounter powerful, mechanical
creatures in the crystal caves, but
they can be defeated by smashing
geodes containing explosives.
Boss Battle: The boss of Crystal
Caves would be a giant mechanical
worm that tunnels through the
crystal walls. In this battle, Sonic
must dodge the worm's attacks and use the geodes to damage its
armor. The worm can also knock
crystals from the ceiling, creating
dangerous obstacles that Sonic
must avoid. Once the worm is
defeated, Sonic can move towards
the next zone.
So which one is better,
