Hydia: The Hidden World

So, I drew up a concept art for battles in the art website I use. Would love to hear feedback from people!

One thing I'm already debating though is using a 5-color palette for the enemies (2 tones with 3 inbetween tones). Currently, the picture shows them with a 3-color palette.

Also, if it isn't obvious already, I'm taking some inspiration from how Toby Fox did Undertale's Enemy Spritework, as it's nice and simple, but still easy to add interesting detail.

As for why one of the AAAlex's is yellow: When you've selected a spell, the enemy/enemies you're targeting will slowly flash yellow.

Again, I'd love to hear feedback about what you guys think of it all, and what you'd suggest!

The main Level Soundtrack of Barrel Boy! I was heavily inspired by Fire N' Ice from the NES, which inspired this entire project too lol.

Made in Famistudio, which made making this more accurate way easier.

I made a new version of Nacht, but I'm gonna keep the original version up on Gamejolt for now. Mostly because I'd like others to give opinions on which one sounds better.

This week's Fan Art Friday celebrates Stardew Valley! Accept the quest in your quest log to get started.

Technically I call it a boss theme, but in reality it's just the song for the final level.

I reused an old song of mine and made it "more NES". It was a retro battle theme to begin with so it didn't take long.
