I’ve been working like crazy. I’ve been coding and spriting and testing for what seems like eternity.
I have come so far and put in so much effort, so much of my potential!
Fingers crossed I win the competition!
What I’ve been up to:
Bug fixing
Reduced the overall map sizes for random maps (they load crazy fast now!)
Added a laser sight to shooting weapons.
Refined the map generation procedure. (thanks to FatalSleep)
Fixed some spawning stuff.
Added keys.
Added Music and Sound ON/OFF toggle buttons.
Added all 5 music tracks by various artists, with an internal, coded playlist/track sequencer.
Working on tonnes of art/sprites
Added an awesome, nifty loading screen.
So much stuff I can’t even remember! I have also been adding achievements:
I’ve set up a Trello organiser/dev log here: http://bit.ly/deadbase_devlog So anyone can see what’s actively being worked on.
I’m planning the release for the 1st of April. (not fooling anyone).
This will give me some time to get feedback and info about any bugs that might persist between then and the Clay.io competition deadline.
**THIS WILL BE MY FIRST COMPLETE GAME.

**I just want to take the time to thank the following people for their effort in assisting me along the way:
YellowAfterlife
Brenton Hamono
Donald Jansen
Derme302
Duncan McPherson

Any and all fans that have boosted my enthusiasm.**
