I was originally going to release the closed demo on the 10th of September, but the likely-hood of that happening is... well... unlikely. Honestly, that's just 4 days away, and I don't see myself being finished with the game in that time, and the closed demo is just there to make sure I didn't miss anything, and also for marketing reasons.
To be honest, I may even have to delay a couple days, but we'll see. Hopefully not, that's a bit of an extreme scenario, but it's a possibility I have to acknowledge.
Here's my planed schedule. Might take a break from internet for a few days just to really grind so I can crank this out on time.
Sep 6th : Finish the main walk cycle for Undyne in her armor. (all I have left rn is the her walking from the back, so I should be able to do that no problem if I will just finally sit down and do it XD)
7th Take a break. I just bought Among Us and will be playing that, maybe also do a video. If anyone else has that game, you can play with me. Just let me know.
8th Finish the rest of Undyne. Edit on the normal head to make the helmet-less version, easy stuff. Do the Undyne's sprite when she holds the spear and looks right and left (not as easy stuff, but I can manage)
9th Finish tileset work. I don't have much left to do, so it should be quick. If I have time I can start working on the stuff for the rest of the days.
10th Make the animations (easier than it sounds) and work on re-up-scaling all the rest of the face images and battle sprites.
11th Play all the routes and make sure the game works properly, and then release the pre-release to the closed demo group
12th profit :)
I feel like that's a good schedule.
Note, I can't get on GameJolt until I finish my daily quotas.
Sounds a bit harsh, I know, but I'm really gonna have to grind if I want to get this out on time. I've been way too lax for way too long.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have work to do.
See you at the end of the tunnel XD!
