Game
Happiest Day

So the astute among you may have noticed I didn't post the game in time for the game jam, despite my last post. Turns out some stuff happened! Them's the breaks.

A better explanation:

So the part about me procrastinating horribly was true! I also, over the past week, really did want to finish the game. Unfortunately, some real life stuff got in the way at the last minute.

I'm going to be making a few post-mortem updates, detailing what I learned from everything and what I wanted the game to be. I'll also post some of what I actually completed, if only so my artist doesn't feel like they wasted their time! (Sorry.) Some day, I might released something playable, but... not soon.

Sorry to everyone who was looking forward to playing it!

Engine Update!

I've decided to switch to Unity, because the game is a bit less visual novel-y now that I've worked out more of what I want to do.

Just as Pecaminosa's musicians #improvise this rendition of #LittleSunflower 🌻, so do we improvise with this post you're reading. 😂

What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔

This Satuday we invite to watch another #speedpainting of our artist Daniel Faiad.

How great is this scene of #Pecaminosa?

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
