We already know where this is going, so I'll be as professional as I possibly can be with this.

Is Chica's Party World: Rebaked cancelled?

Short answer: Yes but also no.

Longer answer: The game is in somewhat of a limbo right now. It could be considered "cancelled" in the short term. (I want to avoid using the word 'hiatus' as much as possible as I feel it's practically a curse within the fangame community.) But long term? Uncertain.

As I know many of you are following this account with high expectations, I (ShadowToyChica/ShinyRuban, the one writing this) will try to be as transparent as possible regarding what's been happening with this game, or lack thereof.
We've had many ups and downs to say the least. Lots of people have joined the team, a few people have left, I've actually picked up coding in UE4 just so I could try to make things work for the future of CPW.
That being said, my motivation for running this gig is now extremely low. (Lack of motivation? Where have we heard that one before?)
I don't blame anyone for causing the decline of CPW at all, as there's not really one thing to point to when it comes to all of this. Sometimes things simply don't work out, and that's okay. (Though it is worth mentioning that I will not be showing anything that was part of the game here, just in case I do come back to it in the future.)

All of this being said, I'm not looking for help with CPW at the moment. As much as I appreciate potential enthusiasm to try and 'revive' the game, please save it for another time, possibly somewhere down the road.
On top of that, I have another upcoming project in the works that I would argue is even more of a passion project for me than CPW was. I'd appreciate it if you could all stay tuned for that!
I can't spoil too much, but I do think it's something that fans around the globe could be excited for.
