GAMEPLAY/STRUCTURE:
First of all, there will only be ONE night in the full game. The reason for this is pretty simple, the story is VERY linear. Five nights would make it harder to tell a linear story. But the good thing about it being one night, is it's runtime.
The game's length will (hopefully) be AT LEAST 6 hours! The gameplay will be focused on doing various tasks. These include maintenance, janitorial duties, and specific objectives. There will be FOUR "roaming" animatronics, meaning the animatronics that roam the diner throughout the night. Also there will be a few scripted events.
NARRATIVE:
The narrative is around 80% complete. There are still some things that need to be written, but the main outline for the story is done.
LOCKed DOWN/SDLD (Short Film):
SDLD is currently in pre-production. The narrative/script is currently being written. It takes place in 1977, over three decades before the events of the main game (2008). It focuses on the mysterious company behind the animatronics, LOCKDOWN. It will follow an employee who helped build the animatronics as she discovers the secrets of Imaginari.
SHOWTIME DINER EMPLOYEE TAPE #2 (Progress Update):
The second tape has been through a lot of planning. Currently it is estimated to release after May 2024. It is planned to be a fully animated performance by Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica. More info to come
