So it’s my birthday today and I’m currently on break at work. So I thought I’d explain a bit more details about the future chapters.

Firstly. The plot will be completely reworked from the classic dusttale trope. Instead the plots gonna see papyrus as remorseful and having regret for the first half of the game, that he’s shows less of as he gains LV. I wanted to also explore the topic of how Psychosis affects a person and the others around them.

Secondly, Papyrus is getting a redesign from the classic dusttale esque design. I wanted to have an original design for papyrus since the story was gonna be semi original as well. I also wanted his appearance to have meaning. Expect concept art coming soon.

Finally, the biggest teaser in this post. The original underswp derangement was supposed to be completely different (you can still see today on my SoundCloud that the original prologue ost is still posted). So for that I’ve decided that Underswap Derangement is going to be separated into a normal mode for the new writing, and a HARDMODE for the original idea. This is gonna be a take on the classic dustswap you’d expect to see from a dustswap take. It will be unlocked upon completing the main game (or after the prologue in the demo)
