Hello there!

Perhaps you have noticed that the game page has been rather inactive as of late. This can be contributed mainly to one reason. Due to unfortunate circumstances, we have been forced to temporarily pause development on the game.

This is due to me ( Scimitri / Anton) having gotten a job as a level designer for a company here in Sweden. Due to my contract, I am not allowed to work on The Cardinal Crusade whilst I am in their employment. This has forced us to pause things for now. While Nathan has done work on his own, converting to GMS2 and overhauling systems, the development will slow down going forward. This is just a temporary thing though, as we all feel the desire to finish the game, and given time, we are sure we will have the opportunity to do so. After all, we have sunk way to much time into this to just abandon it :P

With that said, do keep an ear and eye out for future developments and we’ll be sure to keep you updated for when things kick back into gear!
