Some work was done.

What did I do? Expand to see.


Well first off, I actually opened up the project today. I wanted to get some stuff squared away, but this time UI was the hardest part in this regard. So to get past this weird mental block thing I've got the Alpha UI ready to go with even a small tutorial scene. Check out the gif.

Another thing, random automatic saves! I created a small subroutine that does a check every move you make. This will likely be expanded out for random enemy encounters.

On top of that, there's a proper save routine now coupled with a music handler. There's already 5 songs included in this release and 3 of them are mine! Huge thanks to Syrsa for allowing anybody to use his music, wherever.

Anyways, this is all I've got to post for today/night. I'm tired!

This is indev version 1.0.7 so far. I need to add much much more logic to the inventory system I've got, it's still quite young. Just showing that I'm still here... ish?

It's irritating to have a bunch of posts on a devlog right? That's why I use my profile to drop misc. leaks lol.

Nearly forgot to show what my recycle bin looks like.

I finally figured out how to make an infinitely scaleable map navigator. Little crude in the gif itself but nothing a little polish won't fix.

So. Does anyone think this beaver is dead or no.
