Sonic The Hedgehog - Chaos Shards Update 0.1.1 FINAL UPDATE FOR OLD GREEN HILL!


It's been *four years* but here we are! I'm finally at a point where I'm happy to say Old Green Hill Zone is finally fully complete!!

This isn't the final update for the game. I'm still working on the next zone, but I also do work on this game from time to time not fully, yet anyway(?)

Anyways, change log!

BALANCE-

Sonic now regens 1 Boost

TWEAKED-

Did a final runthrough of Old Green Hill and finalized the zone

OGH Now has all five Red Star Rings to collect (You'll have to find a way to collect them all in one run!)

The Ranking has been redone and is now complete, getting an S Rank won't be too easy now, I hope

Changed Old Green Hill Zone's act themes to Green Hill Zone act 1/2 by Teel Lopez, but slightly ssped up to match the speed of the game

They also fully loop now! But Zone 2's theme might sound off in the beginning, I tried...

Next up

Redesigned the Crystal Cave a bit

After taking a small break I finished up the final area. Still don't know if I'll extend the level or not. But for now this is good.

Actually wasn't liking how the Quickstep section was in shadow I'm tempted to make the sky more blue, even though it's supposed to be morning

Decided to make the second section's water an actual playable area, I still have Sonic "drown" when going out of the area, just to be safe!

Sonic can only run on water when he's Boosting Decided to add this when I was adding stuff to OGH's second section

Found the plants / Rocks I'll be using in the next level!

Supposed to be a different region which is why it's different then Green Hill.

Working on more changing camera angles and edited the main big loops camera position

-I will start work on a new Zone very soon, just having trouble thinking of a way to make it and have it play just as good as OGH, not as easy as I thought...

Thanks, everyone! I know it's Sonic but this is the most followers I ever had for a project!! I'll post more updates on the game soon, just life kind of in the way and all! Hope all you are still having fun with Old Green Hill!
