Today, progress on Soudy Adventure! (or so I think...)
Never mention this, I should have done it... but I forgot to do it.
Some time ago, I gave @TerKeno a small, buggy and incomplete prototype of Soudy Adventure
Thanks to TerKeno's feedback I was able to fix some things that were wrong with the game
(also, I confirmed that the game worked fine on another computer than mine xd).
Now we see the problem I am having at the moment.
THE PROJECT IS A DISASTER !!
(in terms of code and organization of assets in the Game Maker Studio 2 project).
My calculations were a little off... too much.
And I realized that things like player code, objects, and other gameplay elements... I don't have 20% of them.
Now I'm in quite a dilemma because... I did things in a rather strange way...
I have two options:
1- Try to fix the mess of code and assets that I myself caused.
2- RECODE EVERYTHING... A G A I N
...
I'm thinking about what could be the best option
I'm going to make an effort to develop Soudy Adventure... I love this project with all my soul, and I have NO intention to cancel it...
I don't mind taking 4 more years to release a demo!
And that's it, sorry if today there wasn't any interesting progress, but I really had to comment on the situation.
I just remembered that there is art that I haven't finished yet, when I finish it I will post it
