I've seen people is getting too comfortable with sound cues in fangames these days, and although it makes sense and is really easy to code and very common, I think that having a sound cue aiding you all the time beats the purpose of seeing for yourself or using a flashlight/cameras. That's why in my game, you can only 100% trust your eyes. There's always a camera, there's always a way to peek and take a look. There are some sound cues but not all the time.
I'll probably adjust this in a difficulty setting but the intended way to play is by checking yourself.
Oh and by the way, when you hear something in the vent and you close it but still get killed, it's not a glitch, it means you closed it too late.
