Space Stage: Preview

The space stage has been in production for a week or so now. I’ve refined the basic “land” / “planet” section, too.

Combining these two stages allows the player to fly into space on completion of their spaceship. They can explore an entire solar system so far, with a central star and enemy spacecraft.

But the main feature is the procedurally generated planets, which each have their own unique atmosphere, size and scenery composition. I’m working with the ability to land on each of these planets, in order to explore them, and gather fuel for the spaceship.

More to come - this version should be a public release fairly soon, so be sure to click “Follow Game” and stay updated!

Thanks for the support.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.
