I haven't done a devlog since September. So since December is coming to an end, I might as well write one.
The amount of progress I've made on the game since my last devlog is insane to me. I never thought I would actually make something like this and I'm actually very proud of myself for it. I've worked very hard on this project and I'm actually quite confident that I can release this game in Spring.
With me releasing it in Spring, there will not be a custom night at launch. Instead, it will be a separate update as it would take quite a while to develop, possibly releasing in the summer, which is quite a while from now.
In the past few months, I've added a lot of stuff to the game. I've even made two decent trailers to advertise the game. Overall, my progress with this game so far has been great and I can't wait to actually release the game to the public hopefully soon.
Things Added:
Working power system
Working AI for the main animatronics in the first five nights
Decent looking menu
Slightly revamped cameras
Jumpscares (I actually made half decent jumpscares in this game unlike my awful Scratch games.)
Save Data (Still in progress as it only saves what night your on)
Phone Guy voicelines - Voiced by @TheRedEncryption
New unnamed green withered animatronic
Powerout scene (quite spooky)
6 AM Screen (W.I.P)
Things I Plan on Adding in the Future:
A system of some sort that will require you to use the cameras
Bossfight in Night 6
Post-Shift minigames
Extras Menu
More cutscenes
Secret VHS Tapes that you can find
***Any Suggestions in Comments***
A huge thanks to my testers as their feedback has been a great help during the game's development.
Here are some Screenshots :)
