Story so far

Hey!

I have not yet reported any news on GameJolt, but I’ll be sure to that in the future. But to start off, I’ll give a brief overview about what’s been happening until now.

I first started working on the isometric tycoon/office building sim Office Management 101 around November 2013, when I wrote the early version of the design document. The idea was somewhat inspired and influenced by classical sim games like Theme Hospital, Pizza Tycoon and Kairosoft games. After doing some research about both the setting and the game engine, I started developing it full-time on my own and made the first public announcement about it a few days before new years eve.

Facing some health and life problems shortly after that, developing progress slowed down quite a bit, but I picked up the pace again in March with the hope of hitting closed alpha version around May or June.

Currently I’m finishing up with the title screen and will then go back to developing the core game features.

By now, all thanks to some hard working journalists being awesome at what they do, the game has been featured in several indie gaming magazines including Indie Statik, Indie Game Magazine and Rock, Paper, Shotgun. Be sure to check out those weekly columns, they feature some very exciting indie games regularily.

I also want to thank everyone for the support so far and I’m always glad to receive comments, questions, critique or suggestions. I can be reached via twitter (@tulevikEU ) or e-mail ([email protected]) or you can leave a comment here.

Thanks for checking the game out,

Riho Peterson
