HELLO EVERYONE! So, it's definitely been quite some time since my last update. I have had updates stuck in the drafts, but I keep them there because I'm not sure I want to share those ideas quite yet. This project is still EXTREMELY in early development and not much progress will be made. I AM hoping though that you guys will enjoy this idea that I have and also that I am able to deliver these ideas.
I have had the idea of releasing two new versions of STRANGER DANGER. One being the main remaster will completely new gameplay and story, and the other being a new idea. The old STRANGER DANGER, but polished. I'm hoping to implement new updated graphics, new updated sound design, and new/redone levels. I want the original concept but have it make sense (if that even makes any sense itself). This is SOMEWHAT even more added to my plate, but not necessarily. The concept of the game is already established, and the mechanics are not complicated. However, the story may not be exactly the same. It will sort of be a mashup between the old and new versions. This game would be NOT canon whatsoever, and if it ever did become canon, it probably would exist within a completely different universe or something. If this is something you would be interested in, I'm planning on releasing this polished version right here alongside the remaster.
So what's the status report? Planning has been done, I've been learning how to use Game Maker Studio. It has been slow though. I'm expecting progress to kick back up, but we'll see. That all depends on me. What has been done has mainly been story-related, and so far I have some new concepts I'm really excited to share, and maybe you'll see a little more of the game soon.
Ahhh what the heck, I'll spill some of the beans. The town of Perception has some hidden history, and there is an idea to add some potential collectibles that both relate to the town's history and maybe some information that can shine some light on what's happening.
Anyways, that's all for now. Prepare for another month of radio silence. I'm kidding, but let's hope it says a joke.
