Oh boy, this one was just tough.
45 characters. 45. This is basically another FNaF World. It is so incredibly unique too, dammit. You can't just plaster the faux-FNaF style of moves. Each character is also in a UCN type of environment, so each character has little history. Sure, I could always look at the animator behind it but this character is not the animator in and of itself, it's the OC.
I believe, personally, that the moves should tune with the character and that, while a reference or two in the appropriate places won't hurt, they can’t just be references. It has to be something people even not in the know can understand. So it's mostly original moves.
A row system here does not make sense because it implies a hierarchy between animators which, while I could count subscriber count, is unfair to the animators and too bland for this universe.
So me and @MikyDrawssOfficial
thought of a completely different system and completely different kind of combat.
We thought of...
Affinities
In the world of AH in UM, there are four types of affinities:
Hellbound: more prone to attacking the enemy directly with physical attacks
Dark Wizard: prone to using spells and indirect tricks and attacks
Ruined Guard: more prone to keeping the team alive and reviving
Trickster: they do what they want. They usually either have an incredibly risky moveset or benefit themselves first
Affinities are such that there are strengths and weaknesses:
Hellbound beats Dark Wizard
Dark Wizard beats Ruined Guard
Ruined Guard beats Hellhound
Trickster does not beat anybody nor is beaten by anybody
When there is affinity advantage, the attacks deal 1.2x the original value. When there is affinity disadvantage, the attacks deal 0.8x the original value. This should make the battles more interesting but the punishment for not choosing the correct elemental character less punishing too.
All of the characters bring something completely new to the table. At the top you can see the division we thought of for the characters.
Below is a Canva with all of the moves we propose. It is far too long to put organically in a post:
We hope you enjoy the movesets thought!
So... what do you think? Would you like to see this get made? I'd love to know!
