Hello! It's certainly been a while since the last devlog, but we finally have some good stuff to show
The Engine
I'm proud to announce that the engine is finished, meaning we can finally work on the actual game! Awesome, right?
We've decided to make a new menu design instead of the old Undertale one. I think it's more efficient because it requires less button presses.
Also did I mention... a Frisk sprite! Made by @Dark_Haos
(All the running made Frisk lose some weight)
You can also run, by pressing x, or shift! With their own animations!
...and the Frisk dance!
Now onto the battle engine! This was definitely one of the hardest parts of the engine, since it takes longer to make, and is more confusing. I'm trying to make it not look like Turbowarp, and some very low quality Scratch project.
Anyway, this is what your usual battle will look like! (Ignore )
We've got new button sprites, custom dust, an (semi) original item system, a custom game over screen, and more!
These are all added to make the engine unique, and distinct from Undertale's battle engine.
Well, that's enough of the Engine, we've still got something else to say.
A new change.
You may have noticed a new thumbnail, banner, or images with the words "Undertale: Stargazy". This is the new name we have chosen for this fangame. And we've been thinking about it for a while.

( don't ask why we decided on this name )
End
These are all pretty big changes/expansions of the fangame, and it's my first time finishing an engine, because the previous 2 engines weren't really considered finished.
Now you can be excited for the actual game!
We already have started planning for the first 2 chapters, and it's going to look awesome once it's here.
Sorry for the lack of devlogs recently, I've been on a lot of breaks, but now I'm back, so progress is picking up a lot.
Anyway, that's the end of this devlog, goodbye!
