SVTFOE:U VARIANTS: GLOBGOR

HIS POWER: TOXIC SPIKES (his spikes are, you guessed it! poisonous with an INSANELY deadly and agonizingly painful toxin called AGONI, he can stab people with them, fire them outwards, extended them, and roll around to cause serious damage, by the way if you couldn't tell the end of his tail is a giant spike ball)

as you can see from his design, Globgor actually has gradient skin! this is because it is storing the poison for his spikes.

anyway, for the beginning of the series all the way until the season 2 finale, he is frozen in a prison of ice much like his original show version, though this is a special kind of ice that scales with an Ultimatum's power, so no matter how strong Globgor gets he wouldn't be able to escape on his own.

he was sealed billions of years ago, by an ancient, long extinct race of his kind, because he was just that problematic.

however, he does escape, but as you probably guessed, he gets some help.

from none other than the SAME dude from Ludos post: Merasmus!

(yeah, for the uninitiated there is a planned tf2 crossover for season 2, I know it seems incredibly stupid but it's fun okay)

anyway, so long ago before Merasmus was kicked out he struck a deal with Globgor to rescue him someday in the future since Globgor knew he was gonna be imprisoned eventually, in exchange for some poisonous spikes for his spells, which was used in the soul binding spell (still deciding on those reasons btw).

during the season 2 climax, Merasmus does just that (via dark magic), Now that Globgor is free, he and Merasmus work together to take over Mewni, and eventually the universe

however, Globgor is not truly evil, he may be a super questionable anti-hero, but he is not just straight up bad, but that's what he wanted to tell himself for the longest time.

growing up, he thought evil was cool, evil was about not following any stupid rules and just doing what you wanted, you didn't have to do what other people wanted you to, you could just do whatever, whenever, however.

but...truthfully, he is of a violent nature, but not of an EVIL nature if you know what I mean, he still has SOME emotion for others, which he buried long ago.

so, Star and company attempt to woo him to the side of good through whatever means necessary

now, I'm not too sure on how they do it yet, but they do, Globgor turns against Merasmus and together they defeat him and save the universe.

afterwards he is still an anti-hero, one who defeats his foes in incredibly graphic ways, gonna be honest I don't really know much about him post season 2 finale.

Though he does join the GUM (Global Ultimatum MIlitary) and is one of the best warriors, he is known for his ruthlessness to his enemies in the military, and was even nicknamed "The Spikes Of Hell"

Eventually he even becomes a general, yeah that's all I got right now, if I got more to say expect more here.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Today I tackled drawing different variations of facial expressions for one of the main characters in Eden. What do you think of it? :) Eden: https://gamejolt.com/games/Eden/592698
