Yep, it's real. DUCN in Unity. Where have I heard about this before?...
Anyways, why the switch? Simple: Clickteam is insanely old and outdated. Clickteam still only always for 2GBs of Ram being used at one time and the engine starts fall apart when there is too many animations in one "scene" which is not enough for the scope for DUCN 1.3. I want the main game to have loads of secrets and fun little activities for slower nights. With Clickteam's current state, I can only fit in about a quater of what I want to add in and with Unity, I can put in so much stuff and the engine won't fall apart.
Are there any draw backs?
Unfornuately, yes, DUCN 1.3 might drop without Rebindable controls due to the add on needed costs money to buy but hopefully, it'll go on sale before DUCN 1.3 drops.
There's also an unskippable splash screen but eh.
What about save files?
I will drop a Version 1.2.15 with GameJolt Cloud Save Support so that you save your file to cloud and then transfer it back over to DUCN 1.3 since I can't really use the old save file to port over to Unity but I can use GameJolt's cloud to move over files.
Anyways, that's all for now. I don't know when I will drop a new trailer for 1.3 but we will have to wait and see.
