We released it in December 2023 as part of the Cafe Dot Game Jam, and have been continuing development since!

Currently, development is paused while me & another member of the team are busy organizing things so that we can both move (completely independently of each other, actually. It's a bit of a crazy coincidence!) for work.

However, a majority of the art is done and the biggest thing halting development at the moment is the programmer's lack of time to continue refactoring the messy code that was in the game jam release of the game.

It's currently playable at https://golden-epsilon.itch.io/sokobarn, but there's still a major bug that allows players to cheese puzzles. Thankfully, it does not prevent any puzzles from being solved, so the game is still fully playable even with it in the game.

When we release the update we're working on, it will not only more than double the size of the game, but we also plan to bring it to Steam and other online platforms. We do NOT have any plans for any console or mobile releases, though. We're a team of four people, with me being the project's leader as well as the sole artist on the game.
