-Talking a little bit about my next project-


So, in one of my previous posts in the Jairo HQ page, I talked about using my new coding skills for something far more interesting than a recode of a game that I had *just* released.

Well, I had actually started working on that something like a week or so before saying anything.


It's not an original project, but rather a major update and (kind of) a recode / optimized version of a very, very old fangame from 2016.

What game is it? Who knows!!!!!!!!

But you'll see soon enough :)

For now, have this hint. I don't know if it makes it too obvious or if it's too cryptic, lol


It's pretty much finished content wise, all that's left to do is beta test it, AGAIN.

It's a pretty big game, a lot bigger than Jairo HQ, by... I'd say 4 times the size maybe?

Jairo HQ had 3 nights total, while to 100% this one you'll need to play 12 nights minimum, if I counted correctly.

So yeah, quite bigger.


I've already played it from start to finish twice, and I'm still catching bugs, most if not all of them related to the INI file.

It uses the game's original MFA, but I've recoded like three quarters of it and added almost double new content. It almost feels like a completely different game, in a good way.

While making the transition from the old INI file of the game to a new one, a lot of things got fucked, and that's been giving me a lot of headaches.

In the last betatest that I did, which was just yesterday, I believe I caught almost all of the bugs, but throughout this week I'll replay it again just in case there are some that went under the radar (I certainly hope not).

I'm aiming for a release this weekend, but if I end up finding too many bugs, then it'll have to wait for a while longer.


I'm quite excited to release it, because I think a lot more people are going to like it compared to Jairo HQ (tbf this game is pretty much better in every way lol) but a stable release is more important than an earlier release.
